Capanni Family Bell Factory in Castelnovo Monti

Paolo Campanni the President of RC Matilda gave us a tour of his family company that has been making Bells for many generations. The bells made here are exported around the world. We were shown the process of making bells which still involved quite a lot of manual labour including carving, moulding and fine tuning to ensure the bells make the right sound.
